About
It’s me, hi.
My name is Roxanne and I believe great quality content tells a story about your brand. The best storytelling connects you with the clients who matter most and those who nail it? Bring their own creative edge, unique to their business.
My foray into paid copywriting and content creation services began with a blog. Over 10 years ago I started a parenting blog for young Mums that quickly gained a loyal following. I spent hours writing copy for my website that was properly researched (thanks to the skills I learnt at university, not a single Wikipedia page in sight!) Within a couple of months of launching, my blog was featured on Channel Ten’s The Project. All the opportunities connected to my blog that followed this came about organically and were the result of one single common thread:
Compelling copy that invited people in.
Through my words I:
showcased stories of other mothers who contacted me
had brands reach out to work with me and ran successful campaigns
created free, downloadable e-products (which included a self published e-magazine!)
ran a successful crowd funding campaign that exceeded its target
had my articles published on websites with millions of followers
was contacted by further media outlets to share my story & message
From here I began sub-contracting my paid services to other business owners as a copywriter and social media content creator. All of my work for the past five years has been behind the scenes, word-of-mouth, “hey Roxanne, d’ya think you could write this piece for me?”
This led me to create Storyteller Studio. My initial offerings are copywriting and content creation, with a suite of other creative services in the near future (watch this space).
Words are my love language and how I best connect to others. They have always been at the core of everything I love doing - from making my own hand written book series as a child to singing and songwriting throughout my high school years (including a stint at a performing arts college!) One of my proudest achievements still to this day is receiving the English Literature Academic Award in my final year of high school. I was that kid who would practically skip into class each week, ready to devour every literature great we were asked to read and analyse.
I’m currently located in the West Coast of Oz and yes, I do have a studio at home that I share with my husband - an incredible musician and drummer who’s equally creative in his own right. Our house is an endless source of hand written musings on scraps of paper, drum beats and guitar riffs and the general chaos of a young family. Outside of running Storyteller Studio I enjoy spending time with my husband and four beautiful children, as well as working on my first YA fantasy novel (told you I simply love writing).
I believe everyone has a story to tell. The questions is - what’s yours?
I’d love to write it for you.
